Arrive Munich, capital of gay Bavaria. Visit the Marienplatz with its old and new city halls and hear the Glockenspiel bells ring out. Visit Nymphenburg Palace and Amalienborg. Continue to hotel for accommodation. (D)

MUNICH / PRAGUE
Drive through the Romantic Road and arrive Prague, the Golden City and the ancient capital of Bohemia and now of the Czech Republic. (B,D)
Day 04 / SEPT 29
PRAGUE
Sightseeing of this city of spires, one of the loveliest preserved cities in Europe.. Our tour today will show us the jewels of “Golden Prague”, start at the Church of Loretto, the medieval Hradcany Castle, former residence of Bohemian kings, the enormous St. Vitus Cathedral with its grand chapel studded with semi-precious stones, the ornate Basilica of St. George, among other basilicas.

Eucharistic Celebration at the Church of Our Lady of Victorious where the image of the Infant Jesus (Sto Nino) is enshrined. Then visit the spectacular old town square with its astronomical clock. Go shopping and enjoy the ambiance of the city built like Rome on seven hills. It would be nice to stroll across the Charles Bridge at sunset time and the spotlighted castle on the hill before we go for dinner. (B,D)

PRAGUE / DRESDEN / BERLIN
Drive to Dresden, initially a Slavic town, which was germanized by the Margarvaes of Meissen in the 12C.Visit to Zinger Court and view Nempenbad and the Semper Opera. Continue to Berlin for the night. (B,D)

BERLIN
Sightseeing of this once divided metropolis, now Germany’s proud capital. Visit the elegant KuDamm with the bomb-damaged tower of Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial, the impressive reconstructed Reichtag, the infamous Berlin Wall, the monumental Brandenburg Gate. View Charlottenburg Palace, Victoria Column in the vast Tiergarten Park. Drive along Unter den Linden Boulevard and pass the German State Opera House. Feel the Nazi movement then growing here under Hitler’s spell. Then to the Pergamon Museum, housing one of Europe’s most precious collection of art treasures including the ancient Babylon procession bas relief. Some free time for your own activities. (B,D)

CZESTOCHOWA / KRAKOW
Attend an unforgettable Eucharistic Celebration at the magnificent 14th century Paulite monastery at Jasna Gora. Venerate the very miraculous Black Madonna, by elegant thought to be painted by St. Luke. This has become a world famous pilgrimage center and the most important in Poland. See the chapels and museum where gifts from the high and mighty offered to the Blessed Mother will simply overwhelm you.

Proceed to Krakow, cultural capital of Poland where Pope John Paul II served as archbishop. Ascend Wawel Hill to visit Krakow Cathedral –burial place of Polish heroes and view Wawel Castle, former residence of Polish kings. In the Old Krakow, visit the medieval Town Square (where today the 12th century Cloth Hall houses and arcade of folk art shops). Good shopping here. There’s the 14th century St. Mary’s Church, famous for its baroque altar and life size Marian images). Tonight, enjoy a folkloric dinner held in a traditional restaurant with Polish polka dances. KRAKOW (DIVINE MERCY)
Morning visit to the Wielicska Salt Mines- a unique attraction underground of cave chambers, grotto, chapel and sculptures all made of salt. It was declared a World Heritage Site by the UNESCO. Pass by Wadowice and realize how Poland has contributed a Polish pope. Visit his house, now a museum containing mementos of the beloved pope. Also the church where he began his priesthood.

You’re in for a special treat! A prayer devotion in honor of the Divine Mercy at its world famed Shrine at 3:00 pm. There is the Convent Chapel of Saint Faustina to whom Christ had apparitions to propagate the Divine Mercy Movement, “Jesus, I trust in You” has worked wonders to millions since then. Most inspiring briefing. Now an impressive basilica has been built.. (B,D)

BUDAPEST
Sightseeing of the most cosmopolitan metropolis of Eastern Europe. Drive into Buda and Pest, the twin towns of the Hungarian capital linked by many spectacular bridges across the Danube. See the Citadel on Mount Gellert, the ornate Parliament and visit Hero’s Square. From the Fisherman’s Bastion, enjoy a panoramic view of this sprawling city, home to more than 1/5 of the Hungarian population. Admire the 14th century Matthias Coronation Church. Romance will be in the air as you join an evening cruise along the Danube River. Pass Budapest’s crown jewel- it’s parliament brilliantly lit at night. Enjoy dinner with local dances. (B,D)

BUDAPEST / BLED, Slovenia
Drive through the scenic Semmering Pass and arrive in Bled, Slovenia’s only island, more attractive than many archipelagos. Spend two nights here. (B,D)
Day 13 / OCT 08
BLED / POSTJONA / BLED
Take a traditional pletna-boat ride in a romantic lake to the idyllic church on Bled Island, a dream that will come true by ringing the wishing bell in the miraculous chapel. Leave for Postjona, the mysterious underworld. Visit the caves, the most famous in the world. It is a unique habitat and the only home for the “human fish”. Back to Bled for the night. (B,D)

BLED / LJUBJANA / VIENNA
Leave for Ljubjana, a city with a rich heritage. The capital of Napoleon’s Illyrian provinces, a city of Renaissance, baroque and art nouveau facades. Sightseeing includes the Bishop’s Palace, St. Nicolas Cathedral and Robba’s fountain. Continue to Vienna, once the center of the mighty Hapsburg Empire. Tonight, why not take in an operetta in one of Vienna’s elegant concert halls? (B,D)

VIENNA
Start the day with a visit to the splendid Schonbrunn Palace and its manicured gardens. Drive along the Ring Boulevard, pass the State Opera House and stop at the famous Heldenplatz for a picture of the Hofsburg Palace, winter residence of the Austrian royal family. During the walking tour of the old town, visit the impressive St. Stephen Cathedral. Rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Evening dinner at Grinzing. (B,D)

VIENNA / ST. PETERSBURG, Russia Leave for the airport for your flight to St. Petersburg, the magnificent city founder by Peter the Great; also dubbed as “Venice of the North”. He made it the capital of all Russias and ensured that it should rival any other European capital in splendor, beauty and distinction. Drive along the main thoroughfares of the Nevsky Prospekt with its famous squares, parks, monuments and bridges. Visit the grandiose church of Spilled Blood, view the Admiralty and the Statue of Peter the Great. Next is the magnificent St. Isaac’s Cathedral. (B,D)

ST. PETERSBURG
Today, we drive to Pushkin, home of the great Russian poet. Visit the lovely Ekaterina Palace (Palace of St. Catherine the Great) and see its collection of fine furniture and other possessions. Note the gold leaf decors and see the world famed Amber Room. Back to St. Petersburg to visit Peter and Paul Fortress. How about seeing a ballet? (B,D)
Day 18 / OCT 13
ST. PETERSBURG
Drive to Petrodvorets, the Russian czar’s summer residence on the Gulf of Finland. The palace is a jewel of Russian architecture. Tour the Grand Palace and the lower park with its magnificently manicured gardens, numerous golden fountains and cascading waterfalls.

Highlight is a visit to the Winter Palace, former residence of the Czars but now housing the famous Hermitage Museum. The art collection has been expanded to become the richest collection of paintings in the world. (B,D)

ST. PETERSBURG / MOSCOW
Visit the grandiose Church of Spilled Blood, view the Admiralty and the Statue of Peter the Great. Next is the magnificent St. Isaac’s Cathedral Then to Peter and Paul Fortress. Continue to the airport for your flight to Moscow. (B,D)

MOSCOW
Start the day with a walk inside the walls of the Kremlin Fortress, visiting the Assumption Cathedral that serves as royal chapel, among several grandiose cathedrals around. View the priceless treasures of Russian history in the Armoury Palace. Visit the Red Square, the famous historical center of Russia. Admire St. Basil’s Cathedral with its onion shaped domes (pose for photos) View Lenin Mausoleum passing by huge Gum department Store. (B,D)
Day 21 / OCT 16
MOSCOW / MANILA
Cross the Moscow River for a panoramic view of the Kremlin, the Russian “White House”, Bolshoi Theater, Victory Park, Manesh Square, among other sights. Visit the Cathedral of Christ Our Saviour. Finally, explore the Metro Stations which Stalin called “Palaces of the People” still leaving time to shop for souvenirs. Transfer to the airport for your flight back home. (B)
